Our provider: Pamela Howe MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Pamela Howe is an American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) certified nurse practitioner and a North American Menopause Society Certified Provider (MSCP) striving to make care accessible to all. She has been a family nurse practitioner for seven years and has extensive experience in primary care, managing both acute and chronic health conditions. Prior to this, she served as a registered nurse in Labor and Delivery and Intensive Care Units in Tucson, Arizona. She has over 23 years experience in the medical field and her goal is to ensure that the lack of insurance is not a barrier to achieving a patient's healthcare goals.
In practice, Pamela noted a distinct lack of education provided to patients in regards to weight loss and how to achieve lasting results. She also noted that the provision of evidence-based women's health education, especially in regards to perimenopause and menopause is greatly lacking in the medical community.
She hopes to provide this education through the telehealth/video format and support these patients with appropriate medications when necessary.
